YANKS DENY RUMOURS, STEINBRENNER HAS HEAD EXAMINED

According to the New York Post, the Yankees aren't interested in taking advantage of the stalling talks between Albert Pujols and the St. Louis Cardinals, and making a Soriano for Pujols swap.

Yeah, what interest could the Yankees possibly have in the best young slugger in baseball (even if he isn't 24) who also happens to play a little third base?

First the denial of the Carlos Beltran rumours, and now this. Who's the genius that's decided that Alfonso Soriano is untouchable?
