FANTASY OWNERS (AND PADRE FANS) WANT TO KNOW
Early April, botton of the 7th inning, 6-2 Padres, pitcher's spot due first, 94 pitches... why is Eaton batting for himself?
Earlier in the game, Eaton's opponent, Jeff Weaver, imploded after 3 innings, proving the Bronx isn't behind him yet. Honestly, was Weaver ever really that good? Why did the Yankees think he was much of an improvement over Ted Lilly?
UPDATE: Padres score two more runs, so Bochy decides the lead is finally big enough to trust to the bullpen, I guess.
