UPDATE: WILL WRITES
I sent Will Carroll an email (basically a condensed version of yesterday's post) asking him his opinion on Giambi's eye problems. I got this email last night:

I know a number of guys that do the "open eyes wide" thing and the couple I've talked to say its to help them not blink. Not sure if that's what Giambi is doing, but his back leg is KILLING him. His swing is almost all arms now and luckily he's strong enough to drive it - think Kirk Gibson 88.
