GOOD OL' FASHIONED BAR BRAWL
In a story that's more Hemingway than Hudson, rumours are swirling that it was a a bar fight with a Red Sox fan that caused the injury that took Hudson out of Game 4.
If this is true (for all we know, it may just be Red Sox Nation propaganda), then it certainly paints a different picture of Hudson than the well-spoken team leader Michael Lewis talks about.
Truth or rumour, it seems doubtful an Oakland team without Mulder and now Hudson can advance much further in the postseason. (In baseball like in porno, a Big One just isn't as impressive as a Big Three.)
For now, it comes down to one game: 130 pitch Pedro v. short rest Zito.
