HATE TO SAY I TOLD JOE SO

The New York Yankees lost 3-1 to the Twinkies today on the count of their defence gave up two unneccessary runs. Bernie Williams no longer has any lateral movement out in CF and Alfonso Soriano can cry about it all he wants but he shouldn't be playing anywhere near the infield.

None of this is a shock to me.

IT MUST BE AMAZING TO JOE THAT THE YANKEES EVER LOSE A SINGLE GAME

On Soriano, Matsui, and Williams' defensive miscues:

"Those are plays the Yankees usually make."

THERE'S NO WAY I'M GOING TO BE ABLE TO KEEP UP

"The Twins have the best defensive outfield in baseball, leading the league in fielding percentage."

OH, JOE, WHAT WILL YOU SAY NEXT?

"Derek Jeter, one of the best defensive shortstops in baseball."

SOUR GRAPES

Remember that Larry David movie?

Nah, I didn't see it either.

Anyways, here's an interesting article about the feud between the haves and have nots. Gillick does come across as a bit of an idiot. Maybe it is time he move on to greener pastures.
